Timeline
15 SEP - 28 DEC '23
Phase 1: Teams' preliminary project presentations and team selection
- Registered teams will receive a basic CanSat kit (one per school).
- The selection of teams that will enter the competition will be announced by December 21, 2023.
18 DEC '23 - 3 APR '24
Phase 2: Building and testing the CanSat
- The teams are building and testing their project.
- The last registration date for the short project description (including the presentation of the secondary task) is 29 January 2024.
- The last registration date for the "Pre-Launch Report", which describes the team's project and CanSat's design in detail (maximum 15 pages), is 22 March 2024.
- An information session for the teams related to the competition will be held remotely in March 2024
4-7 APRIL '24
Phase 3: The Finnish CanSat competition
The competition will take place in Vaasa on April 4-7, 2024.
